Consisting of a series of Views from the source of each river to its mouth. Accompanied by Descriptions, Historical, Topographgical, and Picturesque. In 2 parts (complete). In contemporary maroon half leather with grubby boards, corners and edges bumped and worn, gilt tooling. Spine has been relaid keeping original, title and lots of tooling in gilt. Internally, ink name to fep, covers strenghtened, map frontis complete, title page has ink name and dedication at head, an interesting 3 page list of subscribers beginning with the King, 2 parts, South and North Wales bound into the one volume, 284 pp, 155 plates, (as called for), 4 double page maps. The B&W plates are superb, some of the more important plates are double page and are stunning! (book is approx 6kg, extra post) 13.5 * 11 * 3.5 inch. Very Rare to say the least.
