Internally, [3], (iv-xv), [1], [1], 2-476 pp, 71 pl, (of 71, uncoloured, dated 1814-16, watermarked 1818?), title page relaid to repair tear, new endpapers, tissue guarded frontis, some light offsetting & spotting, water stain to a few leaf corners, 1 page corner has been repaired at margin, evidence of a small embossed stamp throughout, no inscriptions, printed by W Clowes, Northumberland-court, Strand, London. PUGH, miniature and landscape painter, exhibited twenty-three pictures, mainly miniature portraits, at the Royal Academy between 1793 and 1808. Pugh supplied the drawings for Modern London, 1805, and, inspired by Boydell, wrote Cambria Depicta: A Tour through North Wales . which, illustrated with over seventy of the author 's own drawings, was published posthumously in 1816.
