In half red roan, small almost invisible mark, over contemporary green marbled boards, a little worn & scratched, corners & edges a lightly bumped & worn, some gilt tooling. 20c spine red calf, gilt title & tooling. [6], 30 coloured plates, each accompanied by a leaf of descriptive text, new endpapers, ink name to head of title page (Mrs Judge, Ramsgate), occasional light spotting, & light finger soiling to some edges, lovely hand coloured aquatints by the artists of the day, dated either 1815 or 1816, in the first issue state.
