Spine, faded, title and tooling in gilt, edges bumped. Internally, yellow endpapers, fep missing corners, half title and additional engraved titlepage with vignette present some browning at edges, [22], 33-332 pp, 50 pls, 1 map (coloured), [4], printed by Wrightson and Webb, Birmingham, despite the pagination it appears to be complete, lightest of foxing but not detracting, not dated but c1844, the Map by J Bartholemew of Edinburgh.
