Hugo, antiquary and print collector, who although still widely quoted by antiquarian booksellers, his The Bewick Collector of 1866, with its supplement of 1868, is a mine of inaccuracy, put together by an omniverous collector whose enthusiasm, as in other areas of his life, overwhelmed his judgement.
