Internally, half title, engraved title page, [5], (vi-vii), [1], [1], 2-69 pp, [1], [1] errata, [1], [2] adverts, 22 pls (B&W), bound without the letterpress title, modern endpapers, edges uncut, some light edge browning, eng tp shows 1800 but was 1799. He was a close personal friend of Thomas Rowlandson, whom he accompanied on sketching trips to the Isle of Wight (1784), Brighton (1789) and Wales (1787) which resulted in subsequent publications for which Rowlandson provided the illustrations.
