One of the 22 copies in the Hand Made Paper edition, with a letter from author. First limited edition, in red half morocco over maroon gilt printed cloth, gilt tooling & image, corners brushed. Spine, raised bands, decorative gilt tooling & titles, edges rubbed. Internally, half title, frontis, [4], (vi-xxii), [2], [1], 2-136 pp, 5 pls (B&W full page), t.e.g., marbled endpapers, with an ALS from the editor to Edward Owen describing this work with a receipt for this copy, ink name to fep (Jones). (250*189 mm). Only 22 copies were issued, this being number 16. Apparently even the editor had to buy copies back from subscribers to supply copies. This is one of the copies on fine hand made papers, there were also copies on rag paper. The original MS. was attributed to Sir Thomas Williams. 1550?-1620
