Plates are hand-coloured aquatints, etched by John Augustus Atkinson with aquatint by Robert Havell, John Hill, and James Merigot; after Charles Hamilton Smith. The plates have the publisher's imprint of Colnaghi & Co., with varying dates, ranging from 1811 to 1815, plates 6, 30 and 49 are in the second state and "are the best issue, being superior both in drawing and engraving."
