Internally, hand coloured frontis, [3], (vi-viii), [2] subscribers list, [1] pl list, [1] errata, followed by 60 pls (hand coloured, unnumbered), each accompanied by a leaf of descriptive text, bound without the half title, text block edges marbled blue, ink owners name to worn endpapers (Baxter 1890), short crease tear to fep. Plates are hand-coloured aquatints, etched by John Augustus Atkinson with aquatint by Robert Havell, John Hill, and James Merigot; after Charles Hamilton Smith. The plates have the publisher's imprint of Colnaghi & Co., with varying dates, ranging from 1811 to 1815, plates 6, 30 and 49 are in the second state and "are the best issue, being superior both in drawing and engraving."
