First edition, one of 100 large paper copies, large quarto, vi, [2, contents and pl list], 288 pp, hand coloured vignette title and forty eight superb hand coloured aquatint plates of rural views, plates with Whatman watermark of 1819/20. In contemporary half brown calf over green cloth, expertly rebacked to style with raised bands, gilt decorated compartments and the original morocco gilt lettered label, marbled endpapers, minor foxing to preliminaries, small neat repaired marginal tear to 202 (not affecting any text), marginal stain to p257 (text leaf, not affecting lettering).
