Re-spined, to style, raised bands, gilt tooling, gilt titles to black calf label. Internally, frontis, [5], 6-32 pp, 6 pls (Aquatints), plates dated 1801, watermarked 1796, text block watermarked J Whatman 1794, hinges strengthened. (293*230 mm). Little is known of the Rev. Broughton save that he was a keen poet and talented artist, as evidenced from the plates here. Engraved in Aquatinta by Samuel Alken 1750-1815 Very Good , a clean and crisp copy of an uncommon work.
