In attractive, half brown calf over green morocco, some blind tooling, Spine, raised bands, gilt titles to red calf label. Internally, B&W frontis, additional engraved title with portrait vignette, [3], (iv-xx), [1], 2-366 pp, 1 pl, 1 vignette, occasional spot & edge browning, modern green marbled endpapers, new blanks on which includes a book description. Probably rebound by the previous owner c1990. (120*71 mm). A series of 70 letters on public affairs which appeared under that signature in the Public Advertiser 1769-72. And consisted of political essays attacking George III and his ministers in scathing terms.
