Number 3 of an edition limited to 300 copies, in red cloth, gilt tooling & illustration, corners rubbed. Spine, gilt titles & tooling, 1" crack at base, light edge finger soiling. Internally, half title, frontis, [2], (vi-xxii), [2], [1], 2-136 pp, complete with 5 B&W illustrations, some foxing, floral endpapers, embossed owners stamp to fep & ffep (Trevose), upper gutter cracked in parts. (249*188 mm) There were 22 subscriber copies issued, this ordinary copy was issued on rag paper, hence the foxing. The original MS. was attributed to Sir Thomas Williams. 1550?-1620
