Internally, half title, [2], [4], 5-266 pp, [1], [1] limitation, 28 B&W wood engraved headpieces by Blair Hughes-Stanton plus 1 music leaf, a few edge marks to blanks, completed on 9 July 1932. A very nice example! (232*153 mm) (Harrop 23). The engraver was the foremost wood engraver of the period, & was the co-director of the Gregynog Press from 1930 to 1933 with his wife, Gertrude Hermes. In the April 1933 issue of the London Mercury, Bernard Newdigate wrote of this edition 'I do not think I have ever seen presswork of such uncanny perfection'.
