In the original buff stitched slightly frayed printed wrappers. Internal, title leaf, 7 plates (hand coloured aquatints, all dated Feb 1831), edges untrimmed, light dust soiling to a few margins, adverts to internal covers & rear verso, housed in a cloth chemise in custom titled slipcase. (296*359 mm). (Abbey Life 400-for later. Tooley 121-one of the rarest of English colour plate books).
Bury was an outstanding architectural designer, and engaged with Pugin, in designing the details of the Houses of Parliament - Abbey.
